Little sushi joint off King George hwy and 32nd avenue where Rona is located.
Small and clean place with about 8 tables. There was a big table and small tables that can be placed together so it looks like they can accommodate a group.
I ordered ebi sunomono, spicy salmon roll and salmon sashimi.
The sunomono came with a big shrimp and little shrimps. It also had few slices of strawberry. I never had that before in a sunomono so it was unique.
They use wild salmon in their sashimi and rolls which I really like.
They also give out free miso soup for all the dine in customers.
Overall, I can definitely see myself coming back here for future sushi needs.
P.S. they also do 10% discount on take out orders. -

The food is surprisingly good, and the service is excellent too. They have the best spicy salmon sashimi. The house special roll is delicious.

Very solid! Good quality ingredients for a really decent price!
Tried takeout here yesterday. Was visiting my sis and she lives nearby. She suggested it a few times, but for one reason or another (they do close early), I never got to try it.
Had basic sushi as I don't like ordering fancy rolls at places I don't know. Had the California, Alaska, chopped scallop and beef terriyaki rolls. I ordered chopped scallop as they didn't have another roll I wanted. It was one of my faves! This roll can be a hit or miss in lots of sushi places as it can have a "fishy" unfresh taste. But this one was great...it challenged some of the higher end sushi places I've tried in Vancouver. The California was really good! How can you go wrong you ask? Let me tell you...I've tried many, many, many places...and lots have can go wrong or be subpar! The salmon piece in the Alaska was lean good quality salmon. It actually looked like wild salmon as opposed to the farmed salmon I'm using to seeing smaller or cheaper sushi places. The only weaker roll was the beef teriyaki (we are low in iron ; ). The beef was very lean... good for those watching fat/calories. But it was a bit dry and too tough.
Do expect a bit longer for your order. It was 25 mins for the 4 rolls. Likely due to the small operation. But bonus of 5 ( or was it 10?) % off for takeout!
All in all, this will definitely be a new dining option everytime I go visit my sis. I live quite 20+ km away...otherwise, it would be one of my regular takeout joints! -

Had a great Brown rice Butterfly roll last night....the service is exceptionally courteous and the bathroom sooooo clean. Now many don't think that is important but believe me it says a great deal about this family owned Sushi treasure. Have been going here regularly since 2015....check it out as they have it All. My favourite is the salmon samishi...so fresh always.

The outside is horrendously dingy. No thank you to the Dry Cleaning Sushi Joint. Honestly very hard to attract new customers with that. Very small store, about a living room size imo. A literal Mom and Pop store. Chinese-run sushi shop, the rest of the staff as well. Takeout is very popular and hectic, given from the takeout discount. Came in on a weekend evening, a few dine in customers, my party was seated in the little nook of table for four, a mere 30 cm away from another couple, privy to their conversation. Ordered two dinner combos, cali, dyna, mango, caterpillar rolls, etc. Miso was too high in sodium, caterpillar had a few two many brown spots imo. All in all, too many misses for my party that night. When it was time to leave, there was too much traffic at their tiny front counter and two people frantically taking takeout orders, payments, etc. I waited a good 10 min before it was my turn to pay after the take out orders were served.
The following night my son woke up with food poisoning, he said it was from fried tempura oil.
Value: Good and cheap
Service: Eh, needs a system for the takeout and dine in. Too long and too small.
Quality: Not the best for tempura oil apparently.
Would I come again? Bite me.
